yesyesBD named lead creative agency for The Strata Group
The Strata Group, have announced that northern, independent advertising agency yesyesBD have been named lead creative agency for all of the group’s brands which includes Ark Interiors, Officio Office Furniture and Pearlgreen Engineering among others. The family of interior design and engineering brands, which currently turns over in excess of £5 million and handles design, fit-out, signage, furnishing and engineering projects for some of the most renowned companies in the UK, appointed the agency after a competitive pitching process.
yesyesBD presented the group with what it called a “risque, brave, jaw-to-the-floor” kind of campaign that aims to reposition The Strata Group as a bold, northern brand that takes a creative approach to all of its projects.
Graham Fisher, group chairman for The Strata Group, said: “It can be challenging for a group of companies that are primarily associated with the manufacturing and engineering sectors, to communicate their passion and ability to create works of pure creativity. We have spent many years trying to find the best way to show our approach to work and company ethos. yesyesBD’s energy, creative strategic thinking and daring spirit, makes them the perfect agency partner to achieve this.”
The campaign, the title of which is yet to be announced, is planned to start rolling out towards the end of 2015. yesyesBD Creative Director, Jamie Cartledge described the motives behind the campaign “After just a few conversations with The Strata Group we were overwhelmed with the scale and creativity of the work being produced. The group clearly had a strong culture of wanting to push boundaries and create bold, exciting work which to date had never really been represented in a way that matched the brands personality. We took huge inspiration from The Strata Groups strong culture and created probably one of our boldest campaign ideas to date”
The agency started work with The Strata Group in July for what is initially a 12-month contract, no announcements about the concept have been made yet but are expected over the coming months.
