yesyesBD named Communications partner for 2016 HIP Photography Festival.
yesyesBD are pleased to be named as a key sponsor of this years HIP Photography Festival alongside principal sponsors, G.F Smith & East Street Arts. HIP Photography Festival is an annual event, starting on the 1st of October, hosted by the Creative & Cultural Company’s HIP Gallery in Hull. The Gallery plays host to a variety of international photographers throughout the year and has been supported by a group of world renown photographers, John Bulmer, Peter Dench, Frieke Janssens, Ami Barwell and Matt Finn, who have chosen to be patrons for the Festival for the last 2 years.

HIP Photography Festival, soon to be in its third year, has gained interest from leading industry figures such as The Royal Photographic Society, Jessops and fujifilm. The festival brings together a great wealth of industry professionals from all over the globe to exhibit work, exchange ideas and network. It also offers a chance for newly qualified and emerging photographers to immerse themselves in the photography industry.

Festival Director Alan Raw said “The festival started as a small project of the Creative & Cultural Company, but it has been developing very quickly. Since the excellent Guardian coverage last year we have come to realise that we have a major event now in Hull, which deserves professional support. With yesyesBD we can progress with confidence towards a world class photography event that our city can be proud of.”
The announcement comes as part of yesyesBD’s Art & Culture offering which has seen the agency named lead creative partner for the Humber Museums Partnership as well as other projects, which are to be announced over the coming months.
Creative Director at yesyesBD, Jamie Cartledge said, “ We have chosen to focus on developing a strong client roster in the arts & culture sector over the next 2 years, as such we were more than happy to be chosen to support The HIP Photography Festival and HIP gallery. We look forward to supporting Alan and his team to produce a fantastic event in 2016.”
During the partnership the yesyesBD team will be supporting the promotion of both the gallery and festival, to assist with increasing footfall and spreading awareness of both the HIP Gallery and HIP Photography Festival.
