yesyesBD take on the moth-er of all social media campaigns.
yesyesBD recently ran an eight day long campaign, where 59 giant moth sculptures took over, client The Strata Groups, social media channels. The campaign, using the hashtag #MothTakeOver, was put in place to bring awareness to the fact the client had installed 54 moth sculptures for public art project “A Moth for Amy”.
The campaign was designed to firmly establish The Strata Groups involvement in the project and bring everyone involved together in a digital space.
The #MothTakeOver featured each of the 59 moths, including the moths sponsor, artist and location. As well as three videos showcasing footage of the moth installations. The main feature video was projection mapped on to the side of the Kardomah 94 building in Hull City Centre.

It was great to see the #MothTakeOver campaign get such a positive reaction from everyone involved. A dynamic online community was created between businesses, artists and the general public and a strong association was established between The Strata Group and The A Moth for Amy project.”
The moth takeover caused facebook engagement to increase by 495% as well gaining 255 retweets on twitter over the 8 days.
